Jenna is a Cree-Métis woman from northern Alberta - the area that is referred to as Treaty 8 territory, with an upbringing that roots her to the lands in, around, and between Calling Lake and Paddle Prairie Metis Settlement in Alberta, Canada.
Jenna is an education and policy professional, but mostly she is a champion for justice. Jenna has nearly two decades of combined experience in community-led research, education, and rights assertion/advocacy.
She has worked at various system levels: as an educator in early learning, elementary school, childcare, secondary school, and adult learning environments; astute program development team leadership; accountable project management; thorough codification of laws and policies; ethical engagement; and child and family wellness systems directorship.
With her lived experience, professional background, and her advanced social and political acumen, Jenna Weber excels at serving families through Northern Roots CFW.
